On the first floor you will find three lovely bedrooms: one king-size, one double with an en-suite shower room and a twin. All bedrooms have a range of modern furiture and match the period nature of the home and allow up to 6 guests to stay.

There is strong wifi througout the house and gardens with mutiple boosters and the area has good 4G coverage, serving most of the Estuary.
Furnished to a high-standard, the open-plan well equiped kitchen will inspire you to dust off those cook books and indulge in all the modern appliances at hand.
With its attractive yellow and red tiling, solid wood units and granite worktops to brighten up your work space.
The dining area has seating for up to six people, with a cushioned settle and a study area in the corner of the room.
There is also a useful utility room with washer/dryer, upright freezer and microwave. This leads on to the downstairs cloakroom with powerful wall and rainshowers.

Lower Great Torr is situated in the hamlet of Great Torr , which is on the outskirts of the small rural village of Kingston in the heart of the South Hams area of Devon. It is within easy driving distance of the towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe, Kinsbridge and Plymouth.

The local countryside is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Erme Estuary as a Site of Special Scientific Interest due the rare species of fauna and flora it contains.

The best on offer
Beach
Accessible by both car and foot, Wonwell Beach is just a short distance from the village, situated on the Erme Estuary. The beach is dog-friendly, and at low tide enjoys a large sandy expanse, and is perfect for building sandcastles, sunbathing and swimming. Stunning sunsets can be enjoyed all times of the year. Accessible only via a footpath from the village is the hidden beach at Westcombe perfect for extra peace and quiet. At low tide see if you can find the tunnel from Westcombe Beach to Aymer cove.
Walks
The Village of Kingston is ideally situated for walking. The house is within 1 mile of the 630 mile long South West Coast Path as well as local footpaths to surrounding villages and beaches. There is a large centralised framed OS map in the house for your assistance. Dartmoor offers further scope for walking a short drive away.
Local Food
If you love local food and drink, you are in for a treat in South Devon. Everything is on offer, from Devonshire cream teas, the freshest local seafood you will ever try, local wine and ales, and to top it all off, homemade ice creams and fudges to die for.
Nature
Great Torr has views of , and is in easy reach of Dartmoor. The Erme Estuary offers a host of native animals and birds. Enjoy birdwatching, appreciating wild flowers or look out for dolphins while walking the South West Coast Path.
